Måløy Bridge
The Måløy bridge connects Vågsøy island with the mainland, and is part of the national road 15. The bridge has a total of 34 Spports and a total length of 1,274 meters, with two central supports of 125 meters and a minimum free sailing height of 42 meters. Måløy bridge is built to withstand winds of up to 75 m/s. At both ends of the bridge, signs have been set up showing the current wind strength, and it has been closed several times due to excessive wind strength. When the wind blows from a specific angle, the bridge "sings" a clear C note.
