Hidden Gem

Kayaking by Refvik Beach

Join our Hidden Gem kayaking adventure and discover one of our hidden treasures. Paddle along impressive cliff formations with views straight out into the Stadhavet. After approximately an hour of paddling, we will land on a small secluded sandy beach northwest of Refvik. Enjoy a unique break on the beach with the sound of waves and fresh sea air as background music. After a pause, the journey back begins, and you may experience the breathtaking sunset on the way home.

Taking the “wet card” can be the first step towards exciting adventures on the water and a key to exploring new horizons in a safe and competent manner. The ‘wet card’, issued by the Norwegian Canoe Association, not only provides a formal proof of your paddling skills, but it also gives a solid understanding of safety and techniques that are crucial for every paddler.

Before the activity begins, a thorough review of safety procedures will be conducted. This includes important information about equipment usage, handling of any risks, and clear guidelines for safe participation.

Participants are expected to complete a liability waiver and self-declaration before engaging in the activities.

Participants are expected to dress according to weather conditions and the nature of the activity. Sjøbris Adventure reserves the right to reject participants who behave irresponsibly and are inadequately equipped for the trip. This may be done without any form of refund.

Weather conditions may change rapidly, and Sjøbris Adventure reserves the right to adjust or cancel activities as necessary. This may include changes in route or complete cancellation of the activity.
