How to Get to Flyt Sauna

Flyt Sauna is located in Vågsvåg, approximately 6 km south of Måløy town center.

Drive south from Måløy towards Oppedal. As you enter the village of Vågsvåg, look for a sharp left turn down towards the boathouse by the seaside – just before you reach the bus stop in the village center.

Tip: The turn is quite sharp, so we recommend continuing to the bus stop to turn around before approaching from the other direction. This makes the descent to the sauna safer and easier.

Parking is available for guests in front of the boathouse.

Once you arrive, walk through the boathouse to reach the sauna.

The sauna is sheltered on the quay right at the water’s edge, and can only be accessed by passing through the boathouse.

Taxis are available at the pier.

Please note: The local taxi central does not accept pre-bookings. On cruise ship days, demand is high, so please contact taxi drivers directly at the pier.

By Bike

Bikes can be rented at Tours and excursions in and around Måløy - Måløy Tours.

The ride is scenic, but please be aware that the road is narrow and can have heavy traffic on cruise ship days.

We recommend using caution and protective gear if you're cycling during busy periods.
