An experienced guide who knows the area
Safety equipment as needed (first aid kit, emergency communication, etc.)
Knowledge of local weather and terrain
Support and guidance throughout the hike

Good hiking shoes – preferably waterproof and with ankle support
Clothing in layers – including a wind- and waterproof outer layer
Hat, gloves, and extra socks, especially in early spring or autumn
Food and water – enough for the duration of the trip
Small backpack – to carry your things comfortably
Sunscreen and sunglasses – even on cloudy days
Any personal medication you may need

Weather changes fast. Even if it looks sunny, be prepared for rain, wind, or fog.
Trails can be steep, wet, and rocky.
Snow and ice may remain in higher areas even in late spring.
We may adjust or cancel the tour if conditions become unsafe. Your guide will always make decisions with your safety in mind.
